Dr Nicole Haynes
Science Lead, Immuno-oncology
Since completing her PhD in 2002 Dr Haynes has trained in the laboratories of Professors’ Phil Darcy (Austin Research Institute/Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre [PMCC]), Jason Cyster (University of California, San Francisco, USA), Mark Smyth (PMCC) and Ricky Johnstone (PMCC), during which time she has established a strong scientific profile in the areas of tumour immunology and cancer immunotherapy. Dr Haynes continues to run a cancer immunology focus academic research team within the research division of the PMCC.
In October of 2016 Dr Haynes joint CTx’s biology team at the PMCC and has since taken on the role of scientific lead for CTx’s immuno-oncology program. Dr Haynes manages the development, execution and analysis of in vitro and in vivo biological assay systems used to study the immune-modulatory effects and mechanisms of action of small molecule drug candidates.
